Nervous? Dental phobia?
Nitrous oxide: we administer nitrous oxide for nervous patients, those with dental phobias, and for children. commonly known as ‘happy gas’.
Nitrous oxide is a mild sedative agent that safely and effectively manages pain and anxiety during dental treatment.
We also offer treatment under general anaesthesia at nearby day clinics.
Covid-19 Update
We are serious about your health and are very conscientious regarding infection control.
Mask are worn at all times, except when receiving treatment. Hands are sanitised prior to entering the rooms, covid questionnaires are completed and temperature and blood oxygen of each person is checked at each visit, including dental staff.
Clinical staff don full PPE including scrubs, headgear, theatre gowns and shoe covers. All our staff have been vaccinated.
In addition to our regular infection control measures, we also fog our rooms daily using vaporised hydrogen peroxide and have an air purifier in our surgery which contains a hepa filter and a UV light which are both effective against covid-19.
Patients utilise a hydrogen peroxide oral rinse prior to treatment. An external over the mouth hydrovacuum is used for aerosol producing procedures and a dental dam is used for most procedures.
